Ministries

Eleven ways in. Most people start with a community group and find the rest from there.

Greetyr Kids

Nursery through 5th grade at both morning Gatherings and Wednesday nights. About 240 children on a normal Sunday. Maya Chen directs it.

Greetyr Students

Grades 6 through 12, Wednesdays at 7:00 PM in the youth suite. Small groups, a summer mission trip, and a fall retreat.

College

Students from Belmont, Lipscomb, Vanderbilt and Trevecca. Sunday lunch after the late Gathering and a Tuesday night study.

Community Groups

Forty-two community groups of 8–12 people meeting in homes across Nashville and Williamson County. This is how the church actually works.

Man Up

Our men's ministry. Saturday breakfast twice a month, a book study in the spring, and an annual campout nobody photographs.

The Well

Our women's ministry. Thursday morning study with childcare, Tuesday evening study without, and a retreat each February.

One Another

The care team — meals after a birth or a death, hospital visits, rides to chemo, and a benevolence fund for members in crisis.

Music

Band, vocal team, and the Vespers choir. Auditions twice a year; Lily Thompson runs them.

Prayer

Morning Prayer on Wednesdays at 6:30 AM, Saturday Prayer & Anointing, and a request line read by a team of six.

Missions

Four local partnerships, three international. Annual trips to Guatemala and Memphis.

Serve

Twelve volunteer teams, from parking to production. Most need about ninety minutes a month.

Hospitality

Coffee, the Welcome Table, and the people in orange vests. The easiest first place to serve.

Not sure where to start?

Email Gavin Reyes at groups@thegreetyrchurch.greetyr.com and tell him roughly where you live and what stage of life you're in. He'll suggest two or three groups and introduce you to the leaders by name. There is no form.

We'd love to meet you

Whatever brought you to this page, there's a place for you on Sunday. No pressure, no spotlight, no awkward stand-up-and-introduce-yourself moment.

Plan your visit

Tell us you're coming and we'll have someone meet you at the door, walk your kids to check-in, and save you a seat. It takes about a minute.
