College ministry

College

Students from Belmont, Lipscomb, Vanderbilt, and Trevecca. About fifty of you on a good week, most arriving without breakfast.

Sunday lunch

Sunday lunch is the center of this ministry. Right after the late morning Gathering, a rotating set of families host students around their tables — free food, no program, and you can bring anyone. Sign up on the whiteboard outside the chapel or just come and we'll find you a seat.

If you're coming to church first, the Sunday service is at 10:30 AM and lunch follows around noon. Parking is easiest in the Berry Hill Elementary lot.

Tuesday night study

7:30 PM in the chapel during the academic year. Currently working through Philippians. Runs about an hour, and there's always coffee and something baked by Walter Boyd, who has adopted this ministry.

Rides

A van runs from the Belmont campus at 10:15 on Sunday mornings and returns after lunch. Text the number in the group chat, or email below and we'll add you.

Summer

Everything pauses from mid-May to late August except Sunday lunch, which keeps going for whoever's in town. Several students stay in Nashville and work our VBS week in June.

Getting connected. Email college@thegreetyrchurch.greetyr.com. It reaches Gavin Reyes and two student leaders.

We'd love to meet you

Whatever brought you to this page, there's a place for you on Sunday. No pressure, no spotlight, no awkward stand-up-and-introduce-yourself moment.

Plan your visit

Tell us you're coming and we'll have someone meet you at the door, walk your kids to check-in, and save you a seat. It takes about a minute.

Find a community group

Sunday is the front door; groups are the living room. Forty-two groups of 8–12 people meet in homes across Nashville and Williamson County every week.

Give

Generosity is how this church funds its neighborhood work. Ten percent of everything given goes straight back out to Berry Hill and beyond.
