No dress code, no offering plate passed your way, no one will make you stand up. Here's everything you might want to know before Sunday.
The church office is open Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Monday is our staff sabbath and the building is closed. If you stop by outside those hours the Franklin Pike doors are locked, but there's a call box at the north entrance that rings the office phone during business hours.
The building also opens at 6:30 AM on Wednesdays for Morning Prayer in the chapel, and at 5:30 PM on Wednesdays for the midweek meal before programming starts. The gym is open to neighborhood families Thursday afternoons from 3:00 to 6:00 PM during the school year.
The main lot off Franklin Pike fills up about ten minutes before each Gathering. There's overflow parking in the Berry Hill Elementary lot next door — they've let us use it since 2009 — and a team of volunteers in orange vests who will wave you toward whatever's open. See the parking page for the map.
Greetyr Kids check-in opens twenty minutes before each morning Gathering. First-time families should head for the desk marked New Here in the lobby; we'll get you registered in about three minutes and print a matching tag for you and your child. Our nursery takes infants from six weeks. Read more about Greetyr Kids.
Our Sunday worship services are called The Gathering. In Berry Hill they're at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM — identical services, so come to whichever fits your morning. A quieter evening service called Vespers meets at 6:00 PM in the chapel, and our midweek service is Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
The Franklin campus has one Gathering, at 10:00 AM. Full details, including what happens on holidays, are on the service times page.
About seventy minutes: a few songs, announcements, a thirty-minute teaching from Scripture, and communion on the first Sunday of the month. Coffee is free and it's genuinely decent. Read what to expect for the longer version.
Want someone to meet you at the door? Email welcome@thegreetyrchurch.greetyr.com with the Gathering you're planning to attend and we'll have a person — an actual named human, not a greeter station — watching for you.
Whatever brought you to this page, there's a place for you on Sunday. No pressure, no spotlight, no awkward stand-up-and-introduce-yourself moment.
Tell us you're coming and we'll have someone meet you at the door, walk your kids to check-in, and save you a seat. It takes about a minute.
Sunday is the front door; groups are the living room. Forty-two groups of 8–12 people meet in homes across Nashville and Williamson County every week.
Generosity is how this church funds its neighborhood work. Ten percent of everything given goes straight back out to Berry Hill and beyond.
