Our Sunday worship services are called The Gathering. Here is everything that happens in a normal week, worship and otherwise.
The two morning Gatherings are identical — same songs, same teaching, same length. The 9:00 tends to draw families with small children and empty nesters; the 11:00 is fuller and a little louder. Both run about seventy minutes. Greetyr Kids runs at both.
Sunday evening at 6:00 PM in the chapel. Candlelit, mostly sung, no amplified band, about forty-five minutes. Communion is served every week at Vespers. There is no childcare at Vespers, though children are very welcome in the room.
Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the worship room. A shorter teaching and a longer time of prayer. Greetyr Students meets at the same hour in the youth suite, and Greetyr Kids offers programming for infants through 5th grade.
One Gathering on Sunday at 10:00 AM at 301 Mallory Station Road, with the same teaching delivered live by Pastor Renee Alvarez. There is no Vespers and no midweek service in Franklin. Kids programming runs at the 10:00 AM Gathering.
These are not worship services, but people ask about them often enough that they belong on this page:
Holidays and weather. Christmas Eve has Gatherings at 3:00, 5:00 and 11:00 PM. Easter adds a 7:00 AM sunrise Gathering on the lawn. When Metro Nashville Public Schools close for snow, we cancel Wednesday programming but the Sunday Gathering almost never cancels — check the weekly bulletin or our social accounts.
Whatever brought you to this page, there's a place for you on Sunday. No pressure, no spotlight, no awkward stand-up-and-introduce-yourself moment.
Tell us you're coming and we'll have someone meet you at the door, walk your kids to check-in, and save you a seat. It takes about a minute.
Sunday is the front door; groups are the living room. Forty-two groups of 8–12 people meet in homes across Nashville and Williamson County every week.
Generosity is how this church funds its neighborhood work. Ten percent of everything given goes straight back out to Berry Hill and beyond.
