Vacation Bible School 2026

When: Monday June 15 through Friday June 19, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day.

Where: Berry Hill campus. Franklin children are welcome; several families carpool.

Who: Children entering kindergarten through entering 5th grade in the fall.

Cost: $20 per child, $40 per family maximum. Write "scholarship" on the form and pay nothing; no one will follow up.

Registration

Opens the first Monday in April. Members and regular attenders get a week's head start, then it's open, and it typically fills within ten days. There's a waiting list and it does move — people's summers change.

The week itself

About 300 children, in age groups of roughly twenty with two adults and a student helper each. Music, a Bible story, a craft, a game, and a snack, on a rotation. Friday finishes with a family showcase at 11:30 that parents are strongly encouraged to come to.

Volunteering

Ninety adults and thirty student helpers. Background check and child protection training required — start in April, not the week before. Students entering 6th grade and up can be helpers. College students home for the summer are especially welcome and we will feed you.

Children with additional needs

Tell Maya at registration. We run a quieter room, we can assign a one-to-one buddy, and we'd much rather plan for it in April than improvise on the Monday.
