I sit with people on the worst days of their lives, and one thing comes up more than any other: I know I should pray, and I can't.
Borrow the words. Psalm 88 ends in darkness with no resolution. It's in the Bible on purpose. Read it out loud and let someone else's honest words be yours for a night.
Pray in one sentence. "Help." "How long." "I don't know what to ask for." God is not grading the essay.
Let someone else carry it. This is the oldest arrangement in the church, and it is why our prayer team exists. Send us the thing you can't say and let six people say it for you for a while.
If you're in a stretch like this, I'd be glad to sit with you — care@thegreetyrchurch.greetyr.com.
Whatever brought you to this page, there's a place for you on Sunday. No pressure, no spotlight, no awkward stand-up-and-introduce-yourself moment.
Tell us you're coming and we'll have someone meet you at the door, walk your kids to check-in, and save you a seat. It takes about a minute.
Sunday is the front door; groups are the living room. Forty-two groups of 8–12 people meet in homes across Nashville and Williamson County every week.
Generosity is how this church funds its neighborhood work. Ten percent of everything given goes straight back out to Berry Hill and beyond.
